Hi, thanks for the reply. i've checked the radius.conf, allow_core_dumps = yes. i am not sure abt the file name of the core dump file (nv seen it before), but seems there's no new created file in root directory either. any suggestion? KW

check the root directory, check radiusd.conf to see that core dumps are enabled - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html
