Windows and TLS 1.0 / TLS 1.1
Microsoft is disabled TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 in newer versions of Windows. This shouldn't affect most people. However, if you're running a very old RADIUS server (e.g. 5+ years), then it's time to upgrade. Your users will not be able to get online. https://www.theregister.com/2023/09/04/tls_windows_deprecation/ Alan DeKok.

It may affect some people if Windows is the server, see this post: https://soylentnews.org/comments.pl?sid=57524&cid=1323815 tl;dr: Using one Microsoft bug to work around another Microsoft bug requires TLS 1.0 or 1.1 JG.

That's for IIS, though. EAP authentication is where the Windows machine is the supplicant (client), and FreeRADIUS is the server. Alan DeKok.
