We are using FreeRadius 2.1.8 on FreeBSD 8.0-Stable and too often we see that radius daemon just terminates without any message that this : Fri Apr 16 07:39:10 2010 : Auth: Login OK: [sre079@student] (from client localhost port 0 cli 127.0.0.1) Fri Apr 16 07:39:16 2010 : Auth: Login OK: [szukauskaite@sib] (from client localhost port 0 cli 127.0.0.1) Fri Apr 16 07:39:18 2010 : Auth: Login incorrect (Home Server says so): [gno034@student] (from client localhost port 0 cli 127.0.0.1) Fri Apr 16 07:39:18 2010 : Auth: Login incorrect (Home Server says so): [sof065@student] (from client localhost port 0 cli 127.0.0.1) Fri Apr 16 07:39:23 2010 : Info: Exiting normally. There have been reports of that... but there's no more information. i.e. it exits... but no one has been able to figure out why.
We see this problem on more than one radius server, all using FreeRadius 2.1.8, but som are using FreeBSD 8.0 and some are using FreeBSD 7.2/7.3.
It doesn't happen in my tests, but I'm not running FreeBSD. Alan DeKok.
