Hi; I am using Freeradius on Ubuntu; The authentification part works fine but i am facing challenges when i try to ftp nodes on the network. When the Radius server is UP i get ftp error failure connection on the Nodes but with the Radius off the ftp works. FTP configuration on the Nodes are configured well. RADIUS doesn't do FTP. You've shown by your previous messages that you need to spend a LOT more time understanding RADIUS before you ask questions here. People have tried to help you, and you've ignored them. Alan DeKok.
The Scenario: The Nodes (Routers) are authenticated by the Radius. This will then Plot accounting and statistics on another plotter application. Radius will allow FTP connection on some Nodes but not on some yet the Nodes have been configured as a group on Radius client hence the challenge. I do the same with a POP mail server. You need to make sure the RADIUS server is receiving the packets, the secrets are correct, and the passwords are right. Use radiusd -X and watch what goes on.
