Hi, As I searched on the Internet there are some ways for configuring FreeRADIUS 3 for authentication against Active Directory. Can someone kindly explain what is difference between LDAP , SAMBA , Winbind ? Thanks.

LDAP is a lightweight protocol for accessing directory information. Samba is an Active Directory emulator. Winbind is a component of Samba which allows a UNIX machine to join a Windows domain. -- Matthew
