According to you log you messed up your config. Please restore the users file with the help of the original file. Then add the correct entries copying the samples from the original file. You were not asked to attach your config files.

We don't care.
Please restore the users file with the help of the original file. Then add the correct entries copying the samples from the original file.
You need to follow instructions. You probably also need someone else to run your RADIUS server. Your history of messages on the list show a near complete vacuum with respect to reading documentation and following instructions. Alan DeKok.
Actions Taken before raising this case thats the reason why i sent the config files : The thing is the log files is getting dumps of loggings even when nobody is working on the Nodes. I have started the test with one node before doing the rest. - Restored the file using the examples on the original file - Done a Radtest with this results: NAS user root@radius-pst:/usr/local/etc/raddb# radtest read-only testing localhost 1812 testing123 Sending Access-Request of id 77 to 127.0.0.1 port 1812 User-Name = "read-only" User-Password = "testing" NAS-IP-Address = 127.0.1.1 NAS-Port = 1812 Message-Authenticator = 0x00000000000000000000000000000000 rad_recv: Access-Accept packet from host 127.0.0.1 port 1812, id=77, length=115 Service-Type = Login-User Idle-Timeout = 600 Timetra-Access = console Timetra-Home-Directory = "cf3:" Timetra-Restrict-To-Home = true Timetra-Default-Action = permit-all Timetra-Cmd = "debug,configure" Timetra-Action = deny Rgds On Wed, Sep 12, 2012 at 6:23 PM, Alan DeKok <aland@deployingradius.com>wrote:

That isn't a problem with FreeRADIUS. If you understand RADIUS, the packets come from the NAS. If you're getting packets you don't want, then go fix the NAS. And you WERE NOT ASKED TO POST THE CONFIG FILES. Posting the config files is USELESS and WASTES OUR TIME. Is that clear enough?
I have started the test with one node before doing the rest.
* Restored the file using the examples on the original file
* Done a Radtest with this results: NAS user
Totally irrelevant. Useless. You wasted your time, and ours. This isn't a FreeRADIUS problem. Go fix the NAS. Don't ask us how to do it. It's your NAS. You're supposed to understand how it works. Alan DeKok.

Probably that's why it's rejected. Because you didn't add it to FR's users file (or whatever backend you're using). If you're asking "why does a client (i.e. router) send a particular user/password combination", then check the router. Also, see http://wiki.freeradius.org/guide/FAQ (in particular, look for "It still doesn't work!") -- Fajar
The configuration works fine on the servers but fails to record the logs for the routers. Rgds On Wed, Sep 12, 2012 at 5:34 PM, Fajar A. Nugraha <list@fajar.net> wrote:
