If you assign a static IP to the user, the sqlippool module isn't used, and won't do anything.
accounting update not working working only if client take ip from sqlippool
You can change this by doing" accounting { ... sqlippool { notfound = ok } ... It will then process the rest of the "accounting" section. Alan DeKok.
hi alan thanks for your reply i try to edit the accounting section and try run radius in debug mode radius not working i used this config in radius 3.0.21 and its works well without any additional The sqlippool module won't record static IPs in the IP pool. That's how it works. Any IPs in the pool are dynamic, and are managed by the sqlippool module. Any IPs not in the pool are static, and are not managed by the sqlippool module. If you want to know what IP a user is using, you can look at the radacct table. Updates happen when the NAS sends accounting packets. If there are no updated, then the NAS isn't sending accounting packets.

Otherwise it won't respond to accounting packets. Because the accounting data wasn't written anywhere. If you're going to use the radacct table in SQL, then add "sql" before the end of the "accounting" section. i.e. sqlippool { notfound = 1 } sql If you're not going to use the radacct table, then do: sqlippool { notfound = 1 } ok Which will allow the server to reply to accounting packets.
