Changing radacct logs path
Hi, I changed the radacct log directory location (radacctdir = /aaa/logs/radacct) in the radiud.conf file and also changed the owner of the destination directory and premission but it didn't work. Why? How can I do that. Regards -- Can Paçacı pacaci@servisnet.com.tr Servisnet A.Ş. Tel: 90 216 9999677 90 530 5450952

If only the server produced some kind of error message which described what went wrong. Or maybe some kind of debug output. Oh well. Alan DeKok.
I didn't find any radacct related error messages in either the radius.log or the debug output. Freeradius release is 3.0.20. But in our test environment with a release of 3.0.20, I can change the destination directory. I checked many times, I couldn't see any difference, it probably didn't work because of the release. https://wiki.freeradius.org/list-help Nobody here can help if you say "I read the output and I didn't see things and couldn't understand it". You need to run `radiusd -X`, capture the full output, and post it to the list. Then someone may be able to help. Otherwise we're all just guessing, which is a waste of everyone's time. -- Matthew
If there is nothing in the debug logs and no errors, how do you know it didn't work?

After the restart of the radiusd service it works, reload not enough.
Thanks your efforts
