The query_timeout configuration item in the rlm_sql module will be respected in rlm_sql_postgresql as of 3.0.20. This required switching to the libpq asynchronous query interface. We've done internal testing and not found any issues, but if you're using the postgresql driver, it would be useful if you could try v3.0.x HEAD and report your experiences, that would help ensure when 3.0.20 is released there are no breakages. -Arran
