[Freeradius 1.0.3] failed to lilnk to module 'rlm_eap'

Hi list,

I've configure freeradius to compile with --confsysdir=/etc/ 
--disable-shared.
When running radiusd -X -A Im getting this error line:

radiusd.conf[9] Failed to link to module 'rlm_eap': 
/usr/local/lib/rlm_eap.a: invalid ELF header

What does this mean?
