Cannot start Cisctron radius server

[Nagaraja Gundurao]

Hi everyone,
I have installed cistron 1.6.7.   When I tried to run it,t it gives me an 
error saying
[root at naga init.d]# ./radiusd start
Starting RADIUS server: radiusd: dict_init: Couldn't open dictionary: 
/etc/raddb/dictionary.compat
                                                          [FAILED]

can someone tell me what this error message means.
