special characters in passwords + FR + ldap

Hey.

Does one need to handle it in any special way?

I have deployment like this, where special chars work as good as normal 
ones.

Cisco VPN clients >-> Cisco PIX <-> FreeRADIUS <-> OpenLDAP.
