Installing Error

İt does not produce any error. 
Configure proccess does not recognize that gcc-3.46 is installed,
only says that there is no gcc installed.

I am happily compiling with many different gcc versions. My notebook runs 
gcc-4.1.3 for example. What error message did you receive with gcc-3.46?
