freeradius upgrade help

copy the old config to somewhere safe

install version 2.1.4

now configure 2.1.4 to match the requirements you used to use in
1.1.6 - although some things have moved around (eg into special
self-contained virtualhosts in sites-enabled) they are
suprisingly similar.

if you start with the default 2.1.4 install (which will work)
and change the settings you need, then you are far more likely
to be using some of the new features and facilities.

wholesale slicing and dicing of the config leads to your ruin
