incorrect shared secret...and the radius -X log will show that too - with info
saying to check the shared secret


I take it your radiusclient and freeradius are running on the same box
- which is why you are only using 'localhost' in the NAS config and in the
freeradius config?


check your clients.conf on freeradius and your NAS config - ensure that
you have no eg trailing whitespace (best practice is to use quotes for the
string to ensure that doesnt catch you out


you can also use one of the tools that comes with FreeRADIUS - eg 'radtest'
to check that your FreeRADIUS is all okay eg


radtest username password localhost 101 testing123
