  Ah, yes.  I'd rather avoid that, quite frankly.

  While I dislike the "facebook everywhere" integration, there are
multiple alternatives.  github, twitter, etc.  And using those guys to
filter out spammers is wonderful.

  Using self-assertions of identity means that anyone can edit the
pages.  Here "anyone" means "spammer". :(
