FreeRADIUS 3.0: Segfault in rlm_detail

Thank you! Cherry-picking a537bd6 and b33b715 indeed fixes the problem.
However the detection of the endian-ness is still not resolved, so the
v3.0.x still fails to build on Linux with GCC.
