  It’s allowed, it’s just unknown.

  No, that won’t work.

  I’ve pushed a fix to the v3.0.x branch in git.  In the mean time you can just edit raddb/dictionary, and add:

VALUE Auth-Type Perl 1000

  And then make a note that it should be deleted when 3.0.7 comes out.
