well, I've got a 2.2.9 box here with openssl 1.0.1e-FIP 2013....  this is CentOS 6.7
and the RPM is openssl-1.0.1e-42.el6.x86_64  (the important part there is the -42 package
release). the changelog can be obtained by

rpm -q --changelog openssl
