Exec and dropped attributes between v2.0 and 3.0

Thanks Mathew as explained, I have got it in debug mode and it doesn't tell
me anything.

This doc says its not longer there, yet Alan believes it is... I just want
to know if I can get the variable as I need to run a exec script that uses
it.
