Using freeradius just for device administrative access

Hi all,

I'm finally getting around to setting up RADIUS in my lab so I can 
centralize authentication and authorization access to network devices. 
Assume for sanity's sake, NAS information and user information stored in 
a SQL database. Does anyone have any boilerplate for what can be thrown 
away wholesale from the default configs when *not* doing 802.1x or other 
end-user authentication/authorization.
