rlm_perl is still experimental That means that you'll need to compile freeradius with the --with-experimental-modules option. The configuration is in etc/raddb/experimental.conf rlm_exec is stable, so your freeradius will support it already. The configuration is in etc/raddb/radiusd.conf You can use any executable script (which *can* be a perl script).
