No attempt, nothing. Yet the XP client shows a 'validating identity' message. However, I see nothing in the logs to debug. Accounts are set to local authentication via EAP-TLS.
EAP-TLS doesn't use local authentication. It uses certificates. Perhaps that's the problem. And debug mode *will* explain this. Alan DeKok.
