I'm interested in RFC 6218 support for FreeRADIUS, so that it can be used with Cisco equipment in FIPS mode. I see that https://github.com/FreeRADIUS/freeradius-server/issues/2264 was previously opened about this, but that it's not accepting new interactions on GitHub due to prior off-topic comments. Is this still something that's planned to be implemented at some point? If not, is it something that a PR could be accepted for?
We're happy to accept a PR for it. I'll unlock the issue, too. My main feedback is to do the work in a series of small commits, so that they're easy to review and to debug. Alan DeKok.
