I don't know. But if the database doesn't return anything, you're pretty much stuck. And the later messages make it clear that the databases *don't* return anything:

(7) mschap: WARNING: No Cleartext-Password configured. Cannot create NT-Password

So there's definitely no Cleartext-Password for the user. Alan DeKok.
