proxying users

Hi, Is there a way that I can get my proxying radius server to append the realm for certain users. Basically I'm wondering if theres a way of having a realm based server where users don't have to type in the realm as part of their username. I'm wondering if I can get the radius server to do it as part of its processing before it proxies the access request. Thanks
