3.0 hasn't been released yet. It has all kinds of goodness which makes it better than 2.1.x. However, more is coming. So the 3.0 release is planned for early September.

yes, not released yet - but it is official - people can run it now (if they want ;-) ) - certainly having a few more people running it more in anger is useful BEFORE the 3.0.0 release :-) alan
