If you're sending authentication packets, acct-type isn't used at all.

auth: No authenticate method (Auth-Type) configuration found for the request: Rejecting the user

You didn't tell the server the users correct password. It has a password in the packet, but it has no idea if it's the *right* password. Alan DeKok.
