First of all, I didn't change any setting in the Access Point configuration (it seems it was somehow there), but I added one line to the 'attrs' file, in the DEFAULT section: Acct-Interim-Interval <= 300
And since then, one station is sending Interim-Update requests, but not the other stations! Why is that so? This station that sends Interim-Update has the wireless connection on the Radius Server itself. Does anybody have any idea why is that so?
Because it's the fault of the NAS. Ask the NAS vendors why they don't implement Acct-Interim-Interval. As a general rule, when a NAS ignores an attribute... YOU MUST FIX THE NAS. No amount of poking the RADIUS server will cause the NAS to behave differently. Alan DeKok.
