For anyone having troubles with Vista there's this supplicant that works and its free:
How many people use it? Not many. The SecureW2 one is used a lot, and it's also GPL'd.
It was my first choice but I couldn't get it to work (version 1.0.6). I'm waiting for the next version to see if it works.
