Don't bother. Whatever is the default method, it will get changed to sim during the negotiation. AFAIK EAP-SIM is supported by default. Add:

sim { }

to eap.conf supported eap types (like entries for md5 and leap).

I'm testing EAP-SIM now, but the AT_MAC sended is invalid, I think that there is a problem with the key configuration in freeradius. Can anybody provide me with some tips for the EAP-SIM key configuration? Thanks.
