hi, ensure that your FreeRADIUS server is allowed to talk to the DB server - that the port is accessible from your source IP and that the DB is listening on relevant IP and that there is relevant user with relevant permissions on the remote DB. there is nothing magically different about a remote DB versus a local DB - you just need to ensure you have the connectivity... alan
