static ip allocation

hallo I have a rp-pppoe/freeradius/mysql instance running, with ip addresses dynamically allocated from defined pools. I want for some users to have static ip addresses, the same ip at every connect. this can be achieved by manually entering the Framed-IP-Attribute in the radreply table ? or any other settings need to be changed ?
