I just tried this simple test: a pool of 5 ip's with maximum_timeout=10. I start to radclient'ing the auth port, with a random generated nas port. When i reach the 6th client, radiusd -X says "no available ip address". Even if maximum_timeout expired since long time.

There is no way to deallocate ip's, but sending acct-stop packets.
