Hi,
Through my experience, if you set the dhcp client id to anything (my personal favourite is 'cheese') on the Mac it suddenly bursts into life. Weird I know, but it seems to work...
confirmed this behaviour myself - I'm not sure such information is widely known - but its very useful. alan
