Well... it says "update outer reply", not "update request" or "update accounting, so that's why neither of those are being changed. Randomly changing the configuration is not likely to change its behaviour in any useful way. If you're seeing "blah" in your accounting/detail log, then either your NAS is sending "blah", log entries are being created prematurely or your configuration is forcing the User-Name value to "blah" somewhere. If you follow the support instructions (i.e. send us a complete debug log) someone might be able to tell you which is the case.
