I'm using default configuration except I enabled My SQL support. The error I'm getting in debug mode is this: rlm_unix: [alexus]: invalid password or no error whatsoever for any oher user, it just quits (terminates the procces) on rlm_sql (sql): Released sql socket id: 2 I don't know what is wrong? Maybe PAP module was compiled wrong? -----Original Message----- From: freeradius-users-bounces+radiussupport=lrcommunications.net@lists.freeradius .org [mailto:freeradius-users-bounces+radiussupport=lrcommunications.net@lists.fr eeradius.org] On Behalf Of Alan DeKok Sent: Tuesday, March 14, 2006 5:28 PM To: FreeRadius users mailing list Subject: Re: Authentication problem if CHAP is not used "Alex M" <radiussupport@lrcommunications.net> wrote:
Hi, I have a problem; I always get Access Reject saying that password is invalid. But when I'm using NTRadPing Test Utility, the same username and password works fine if I check to use CHAP, but when the CHAP check box is not selected then I'm getting the same problem as I have with my NAS.
Run the server in debugging mode to see what's going on, and why.
So can some one tell me how to make FreeRadius work so that if I'm using NTRadPing without CHAP it would still work!
Don't edit the default configuration files to break the server. This *does* work in the default install. Alan DeKok. - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html
