Just an update (working on other issues moving from 2.x to 3.x BUT getting close We are not using redhat here - BUT the link provided the clue - and may be useful to others If you compile (at least the latest) version of UnixODBC you need the --with-included-ltdl configure option and it then just works I hope this could be useful for someone else Richard
