Now I am just wondering where exactly I would have to put that one config, which was suggested:

post-auth - for 802.1X, the only place you can really trust is the inner-tunnel, so post0auth in inner-tunnel, cache the details, copy them to the outer-reply...as per the info/docs in the config

Besides I am wondering, if someone has ever tried to do this via LDAP? Is Radius capable of using a LDAP attribute to match a VLAN to a user logging in?

FR can do many things....and there are many ways of doing it...the answer, is yes. alan
