That message comes out after the request has been blocked for ~30 seconds. If that's happening, you have a MAJOR problem that is unrelated to performance. i.e. the database is on an NFS mount, and NFS has gone away.
The question here is will rlm_ippool be able to give away ip addresses to 100's of clients per second? or do I need to look at some thing else? Please suggest.
Maybe the SQL IPpool module? Alan DeKok.
