Hello Guys: I want to be able to use the User-Profile attribute to associate users to groups, but it is not working as expected. I was wondering if you would help me understand what i am doing wrong. User is defined in the radcheck table: id | username | attribute | op | value ----+---------------------+--------------------+----+------------- 19 | testuser | Cleartext-Password | := | testuser123 User has Fallthrough =y , user profile defined in radreply: id | username | attribute | op | value ----+---------------------+-----------------+----+------------------------ 78 | testuser | Class | := | Premium 79 | testuser | User-Profile | := | MY_PROFILE 80 | testuser | Cisco-AVPair | += | ip:addr-pool=broadband radusergroup has that profile defined: id | username | groupname | priority ----+----------+-----------+---------- 12 | MY_PROFILE | MY_PROFILE | 1 Check items in radgroupcheck: id | groupname | attribute | op | value ----+-----------+--------------+----+------- 1 | MY_PROFILE | User-Profile | := | MY_PROFILE Some radgroupreply attributes: id | groupname | attribute | op | value ----+-----------+-----------------+----+-------------------------------------------- 6 | MY_PROFILE | Service-Type | := | Framed 7 | MY_PROFILE | Framed-Routing | := | None 8 | MY_PROFILE | Framed-Protocol | := | PPP 9 | MY_PROFILE | Cisco-AVPair | += | ip:dns-servers=1.1.1.1 2.2.2.2 The problem is that when the server process the request, it doesnt even try to look for the profile in radusergroup. So it does not add the extra attributes (It does look for the user in radusergroup, but the whole point is to not have to add users there).
