PEAP worked out fine for me with username/password logins (no certificates). It's Microsoft's protocol and since I have a lot of Windows clients, it was the obvious choice. Ofcourse it depends on what kind clients you have. PEAP didn't work out very well with MacOSX clients though. I'm still testing if MacOSX might work better with TTLS. good luck!
