FR, SQL backend and Foreign keys

Hi, In the samples schema.sql proposed for SQL backend, no foreign keys are used. Any reason ? With ON DELETE CASCADE or ON UPDATE CASCADE constraint it should be easier to manage updates or deletetion of records ?
