Debug mode says...? When I had the debug mode going chap reported no clear text password. Maybe it was the order they are checked.
I got it running so I'll have to get a test server up and then run some test against it and let you know. I still would like to configure freeradius to check against the sql and if it can't connect, accept all but now that the crisis is over I can go back to setting up a test server and trying things out and when I get frustrated with my stupidity I'll shout.
