response time on authentication requests, it is running on Solaris 10, Some times it take from FR more than 15 sec to response to simple authentication request, back end is Oracle 10g

There is *nothing* in FreeRADIUS which will block for 15 seconds. There are plenty of reasons why a database would block for 15 seconds. Fix your database so that it responds to FreeRADIUS in a reasonable time. Alan DeKok.
