Awesome Alan :) It is using /etc/raddb/mods-config/files/authorize to authenticate. # Loading module "files" from file /etc/raddb/mods-enabled/files files { filename = "/etc/raddb/mods-config/files/authorize" acctusersfile = "/etc/raddb/mods-config/files/accounting" preproxy_usersfile = "/etc/raddb/mods-config/files/pre-proxy" However, I am not sure how this is changed. I haven't made any configuration changes. Earlier I just used to edit the users file and it used to work. I just noticed that the authentication is not happening based on the "users" file in /etc/raddb.
I removed the entry of "00:11:01:00:00:01", but still authentication is successful.
I am not sure from which file it is picking the details of the users.
Read the debug output. It tells you which files it's reading.
Look for the debug output for the "files" module.
