Well, it tends to promote an "update outer.reply" as an official way to convey information upwards from the inner tunnel. But that doesn't work: the official way seems to be thru use_tunneled_reply. And it seems I'm not the only one to have been trapped and to have spent a lot of time in the wrong direction... ;-) Axel
