When I tried to use EAP-TTLS with md5 phase authentication, freeRADIUS is not sending Tunnel type and Id information to authenticator.
It sends the information if you configure it correctly. So... the question is what did you change in the configuration? Where did you put the Tunnel-Type attributes? Alan DeKok.
Hi Alan Thanks for your reply. I kept the information in the users file. /etc/raddb/users: "user" Cleartext-Password := "whatever" Tunnel-Medium-Type:0 = IEEE-802 , Tunnel-Type:0 = VLAN , Tunnel-Private-Group-Id:0 = "101" Could you please let me know if this is not correct place? I assume md5 authentication works based on the users configured in this file. Best Regards Yagna Best Regards Yagna On Wed, Aug 29, 2018 at 11:39 AM Alan DeKok <aland@deployingradius.com> wrote:

That's good.

You should edit raddb/mods-available/eap. Look for "use_tunneled_reply". Read the documentation around it. And then set it to "yes". That will fix the problem. Alan DeKok.
Awesome! I changed the value of use_tunneled_reply to "yes" and it worked. Thanks much Alan :) Best Regards Yagna On Wed, Aug 29, 2018 at 12:09 PM Alan DeKok <aland@deployingradius.com> wrote:
