Testing FreeRADIUS Locally
Dears, Good Day, I am trying to activate eduroam SP using FreeRADIUS by following these instructions https://wiki.geant.org/display/H2eduroam/eduroam+SP, in centos 7 OS, I am new in FreeRADIUS actually. I have finished the installation and eduroam configuration as mentioned above, I am trying to test the service locally, using “bob” user but I the test is fail, Could anybody assist me or guide me to discovered the issue . when I started the service by (systemctl restart radiusd)+ run radiusd -x I got Failed binding to auth address * port 1812 bound to server eduroam: Address already in use /etc/raddb/sites-enabled/eduroam[3]: Error binding to port for 0.0.0.0 port 1812 Then, when I test bob user I got as below [root@localhost ~]# radtest bob password 127.0.0.1 100 testing123 Sent Ask your upstream provider (a) what is the correct IP address, port, and shared secret, and (b) to list your source IP as a client. I am the admin of the National proxy server, and I am sure the details are right. Did you just randomly send them packets, or did you talk to them first? If the details were correct, then it would work. Look at the debug logs on the national proxy server. That will tell you why it's not responding to the test packet. Alan DeKok.
