configure challenge..
any example on how to configure the server to send A-C? of course I did see arrogant and disgusting thread here: http://freeradius.1045715.n5.nabble.com/Access-Challenge-with-FreeRadius-td4... This bloke alan dekok seems to think he is some kind of linus torvald just by writing this mediocre patchy radius code.
by the way, I meant Access-Challenge below. ________________________________ From: Rod Luzic <rodluzic@yahoo.com> To: "freeradius-users@lists.freeradius.org" <freeradius-users@lists.freeradius.org> Sent: Monday, September 3, 2012 12:36 PM Subject: configure challenge.. any example on how to configure the server to send A-C? of course I did see arrogant and disgusting thread here: http://freeradius.1045715.n5.nabble.com/Access-Challenge-with-FreeRadius-td4... None of the information given in that thread has changed. Understanding it is the key to your answer. Dave. Quoting Rod Luzic <rodluzic@yahoo.com>:

Be nice, or you will be unsubscribed and banned. The issue of Access-Challenge hasn't changed in the past 15 years. Insulting me personally because you don't understand RADIUS is a public statement of your ethics. Alan DeKok.

and what features would those be? I'm all for being a complete and utter asshole when the context justifies it, but insulting people like that buys you nothing*. update control { Packet-Response-Type := Access-Challenge } The server will complain depending on version, but it still works. -Arran * Except possibly a swift kick to the nuts if I ever meet you in person :)

update control { Packet-Response-Type := Access-Challenge }

It doesn't tie the NEXT Access-Request to the current one. That's what the State attribute is for. And no, I won't give an example. There's already example code in the server to do that. Only idiots and the terminally lazy can't find it. Alan DeKok.
this is the kind of @## () response one can see online from these ignorant retards (+ online bravery!) who wrote some sucking code for this almost dead so called protocol. doesn't get it. ________________________________ From: Alan DeKok <aland@deployingradius.com> To: FreeRadius users mailing list <freeradius-users@lists.freeradius.org> Sent: Tuesday, September 4, 2012 2:37 AM Subject: Re: configure challenge.. Ones that answer your questions fully? Oh no, what awful awful people we are. :(
(+ online bravery!)
*sigh*
who wrote some sucking code for this almost dead so called protocol.
Oh crap someone needs to warn those major ISPs who still use RADIUS for their authentication and billing, services that some guy on the internet says their AAA protocol is almost dead. Arg and the NAS vendors too?! Don't then know RADIUS is almost dead, what are they thinking, why haven't they all included Diameter support yet?! -Arran

Then why do you wast more of - your time looking into an "almost dead so called protocol" and -our time with this kind of senseless postings/replies? To me it seems you don't get it! Please spare us any more of this nonsense. Klaus
